This is news! Contamination found in polio vaccine has led to scrutinizing all batches and guess what, quality has been found wanting in all! Marvellous! Till date barring public sector units, quality surveillance in the private sector was non existent. This forced the WHO to order the closing down of public sector units insinuating that they were not “compliant with WHO standards!”. Ahem, we know about WHO standards don’t we?
